Perks of Ventnor (Est. 1986)

Graham and Sue Perks, along with their family

have run various public houses for 25 years in and around Ventnor:

The Taverners (Godshill)

The Rose Inn

The Crab and Lobster

The Terminus

The Central Hotel

The St Boniface Arms

The Winter Gardens (Bars and Catering)

Graham and Sue have built on their reputation for offering a good friendly service at sensible prices.

Which is still the case with their most recently opened establishment in the High Street of Ventnor:

"Perksies" of Ventnor, their own Little Free house Open from 9.00am daily and offering a full bar and good selection of house and premium wines.

Over the years "Perksies" customers have raised many thousands of pounds, in the main for the Earl Mountbatten Hospice on the Isle of Wight. As well as being the largest single donation (£17,000) to help towards providing a scanner for St Mary's Hospital also on the Island.

There currently is talk of another "Bike-Ride" in the future, to top the twenty one they have already done through France. All in the cause of a charity.

Our menus range from sandwiches to full home cooked lunches and dinners, using as much local produce as we can. We offer lunchtime specials and a senior citizens lunch.

Evening meals are served on Friday and Saturday nights with a completely different menu and a Specials blackboard selection, including steaks, lamb shanks and crab when in season.

We also cater for parties of up to 20 with a choice of menu to suit the occasion and your budget
